Students begin each weekday with a one hour Spanish lesson. We believe that immersion is the best way to learn a language; counting on a bilingual staff, we encourage students speak to Spanish throughout the entire day, both at home and in the community. Pathways Abroad also hosts regular social events with our local friends, and students are encouraged to practice their Spanish, teach English, and learn about a different culture in the context of a safe environment. Many former students have become completely fluent during their stay at Pathways, which enhances confidence and servers as a major asset for the future for any young person.
